The Society requires a New Build property to be built under a recognised warranty scheme which provides insurance for the housing unit for ten years post completion against defects in the design, materials and workmanship.
Currently the Society accepts:
- NHBC
- Building Life Plans
- Premier Guarantee – New Home Warranty Scheme
- HAPM
- CRL Warranty
- Build-Zone 10-year warranty
- LABC Warranty Agreement
The Society may consider other warranties providing:
- have been/will be constructed under supervision of a professional consultant;
- have been/will be constructed by a local builder who has a reputation for first class workmanship with the works being inspected by the Local Authority and with building control certificates being issued;
- A full structural survey can be carried out by an appropriately qualified person at a cost to the applicant;
