Protecting yourself from fraud

We have a number of checks and controls in place to ensure that our members do not fall victim to fraud. However criminals can use sophisticated techniques to convince you to send or give them access to your accounts.

At Penrith Building Society, we will never

  • Ask for you password or your Penrith Online login details or one time passcodes
  • Contact you to ask you to transfer money away from your accounts with us
  • Send someone to your home address to collect money, your passbook or anything else.
